ELISABETTA CATTONI

Elisabetta Cattoni, Associate Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at eCampus University. Graduated in Civil Engineering from University of Perugia in 2000, in 2004 she took the title of PhD in Civil Engineering from the same University. From 2010 to 2016 she has been Assistant Professor of Geotechnical Engineering at eCampus University. She has also been a geotechnical consultant for public and private institutions

The main research topics of Elisabetta Cattoni concern numerical analyses of the seismic response of flexible retaining walls, landslide risk analysis and mitigation, prediction of movements at the ground surface associated with shield tunneling excavation, study of mechanical and thermal interaction effects of energy piles, experimental characterization and constitutive modelling of the mechanical behaviour of unsaturated soils.
Author/co-author of more than 50 scientific publications including international and national journals and conference proceedings.
