AGNESE BRUNZINI

She obtained a master’s degree in biomedical engineering at Politecnico di Torino and a PhD in industrial engineering in 2021 at Università Politecnica delle Marche, where she also worked as research fellow. She currently works as Tenure Track Researcher at the Department of Theoretical and Applied Sciences of the eCampus University. She collaborates with the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences of Università Politecnica delle Marche, where she is also a contract professor at the Faculty of Medicine, with the course Fundamentals of computer-aided design, for the Degree Course in Prevention Techniques in the Environment and Workplaces.

The scientific research activity focuses on the topics of interest for SSD IIND-03/B, with particular reference to design methods and tools. The main research topics can be summarized as follows:

  • Methods and tools for Human-Centered Design, Ergonomics and Human Factors
  • Methods and tools for virtual prototyping and the design and development of Extended Reality
  • Design methods and tools applied in the biomedical field (design of custom prostheses)
  • Design methods and tools in the Active Ageing field (applied research on a new model of social-health care)
  • Methods and tools for the design of highly usable products (usability and User Experience analysis)
