MARTA ROSSI

Marta Rossi, contract professor for the disciplinary scientific sector SSD ING-IND 15 at the Faculty of Engineering of the eCampus University. She graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2011 with a thesis entitled “Axial parabolic solar concentrators: design of a test bench compliant with the Ashrae 93/2010 standard”. He received his PhD in Mechanical and Management Engineering from the Università Politecnica delle Marche, with a thesis entitled “Methods and tools of eco-compatible design: development of integrated systems to promote sustainability in industrial enterprises”.

The research activity is focused on the topics of interest for the SSD ING-IND/15 and in particular they relate to Methods and tools for the design of eco-sustainable products and services and methods and tools for Sustainable Manufacturing. Attention is therefore paid to the identification of methods and tools integrated with those usually managed in the design, which supports the designer in the design of environmentally sustainable products/ processes/services. The research is mainly carried out in the context of EU research projects, starting from FP7, national and regional projects. She is co-author of about 20 scientific publications.
