2004-2022 associate professor of “Construction Techniques” (DICA – University of Perugia) currently retired. Teacher of “Constructions in seismic zones”, “Construction Techniques”, “Complements of Construction Techniques”, “Experimentation, testing and control of constructions”, “Structural rehabilitation”.
Current position: Freelance engineer; Technical Manager of Simeas srls; Contract professor of “Management and rehabilitation of bridges and viaducts” in the eCampus Telematic University and of “Structural Rehabilitation I” in the II level Master degree “Seismic improvement, restoration and consolidation of historical and monumental buildings” of the University of Ferrara.

Scientific research activity in the following fields: prefabricated structures, design of anti-seismic structures, seismic isolation of buildings. Author or co-author of over two hundred and thirty scientific works published in journals and in the proceedings of national and international conferences. He has been responsible and member of national and international scientific and technological research projects.
He was responsible for the RITAM Laboratory (Research and Technologies for Anti-seismic Systems, Structures and Materials) jointly between the University of Perugia – Terni Campus and ISRIM and of the Structures Laboratory of the University of Perugia – Terni Campus.
