Daniela Pantusa si è laureata con lode in Ingegneria Civile presso l’Università della Calabria, indirizzo Idraulica. Ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Ingegneria Idraulica per l’Ambiente e il Territorio presso l’Università della Calabria. Attualmente è Ricercatore a tempo determinato (RTDa) (ICAR/02) presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell’Università eCampus. È membro del Topic Advisory Panel della rivista internazionale Water e della rivista International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health, IJERPH.
La sua attività di ricerca riguarda principalmente la gestione e la vulnerabilità delle aree costiere, l’energia eolica offshore, la gestione sostenibile delle risorse idriche, la vulnerabilità dei sistemi acquedottistici. Ha partecipato ad attività e progetti di ricerca nazionali e internazionali. È autrice di numerosi articoli scientifici su riviste accademiche internazionali e atti di conferenze.
