He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche in November 2005. After, he obtained a Master’s degree in Thermomechanical Engineering from the same University in December 2007. After graduating, he continued his studies in Engineering Design at Università Politecnica delle Marche, where in January 2011 he obtained a PhD with the dissertation “Tools and Methods Based on Knowledge Elicitation to Support Engineering Design”. Since 2008 he has been working in several research activities in collaboration with various companies and research institutes. Since the academic year 2017-2018 he is contract professor of “Computer Graphics and BIM” and “Design Tools for UAV” at the Università degli Studi eCampus. Since the academic year 2018-2019 he is contract professor of “Drawing” at the Università degli Studi Roma Tre in the context of Ocean Engineering.

The research activity is focused on tools and methods for the engineering design. The main research topics are: Simulations, Virtual Prototyping, Optimization, Computer Graphics, Product Configuration, Parametric Modeling, software development, Knowledge-Based Engineering, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and design methodologies.
