Gloria Cosoli ha conseguito nel 2011 la Laurea Triennale in Ingegneria Biomedica (con lode) e nel 2013 la Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Elettronica (con lode) presso l’Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM). Ha conseguito il Dottorato di ricerca in Ingegneria Meccanica in UNIVPM nel 2017 con la tesi “Study and development of a novel Radio Frequency electromedical device for the treatment of peri-implantitis: experimental performance analysis, modelling of the electromagnetic interaction wioth tissues and in vitro and in vivo evaluation”. Da agosto 2021 a maggio 2024 è stata Docente a contratto presso l’Università Telematica eCampus; da maggio 2024 è Professore Associato presso lo stesso ateneo. Inoltre, da novembre 2016 ad agosto 2023 è stata Assegnista di Ricerca presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale e Scienze Matematiche dell’UNIVPM; da settembre 2023 è Collaboratore di Ricerca presso lo stesso dipartimento.
Le sue attività di ricerca sono focalizzate su:
- sviluppo di tecniche di misura non invasive (con particolare focus su sensori indossabili) per il monitoraggio di parametri fisiologici e ambientali;
- misure di comfort e benessere in ambienti indoor;
- misure termiche e meccaniche in ambito industriale;
- tecniche di monitoraggio non distruttive in ambito civile;
- tecniche di processamento di segnali.
